Adult-Junior Golf Tournament
Registration
Venue: Navy Golf Course (Cruiser)
Registration Fee: $80
Tee Times starting: 12noon
Date: 31st August 2024
Entry Closes: 25th August 2024
1 parent and 1 child will be a team. Both players will hit their shots, they will proceed to pick the best ball. The player whose ball is not chosen will pick up his/her ball and place it next to the best ball. Both players will hit from the same spot and repeat, till a ball goes into the hole.
*If you are playing with 2 children.
The parent will need to have either 2 different colored balls or 2 different brands of balls. The announcement of which ball will be used with which kid will need to be announced prior to teeing off on the first hole. The parent will be hitting 2 balls for the whole round and the same rules will apply.
Registration for 1 parent to 2 kids will be as 2 pairs so ($80 x 2) and when signing up please ensure that you fill out the registration form twice, one time for each kid.

Terms Of Competition
TERMS OF COMPETITION
The following terms of the competition, together with any additions or amendments published by the Tournament Committee at the host club, will apply to the following tournament.
1. GENERAL
a. Kidz4Golf 2024 Junior Series will be played at 10 different golf courses throughout the months of July to December, in accordance with the Rules of Golf as approved by USGA and with the Local Rules approved by the Organizing Committee.
2. ELIGIBILITY
a. Entries are open to boys and girls between the ages of 4 – 18 years old. Age groups will be determined based on their age on the 1st of each month, during the month of the event.
3. TOURNAMENT FORMAT OF PLAY
a. The Kidz4Golf tournament series will be decided by stroke play over a round of 9-holes or 18-holes.
b. The competition will be in 6 different age groups. They are:
- Boys 12&Above
- Boys 8-11
- Boys 7&under
- Girls 12&Above
- Girls 8-11
- Girls 7&under
Note 1: This is subject to changes according to the number of players in each age group for each event. Merging or splitting of age groups might occur.
Note 2: In the event of only one player in an age group, the player will be merged with a different age group. 7 & under will be merged and competing in a co-ed age group if there is only one player in the age group.
4. SIZE OF FIELD
a. The field will be limited to a maximum of 80 participants at each event. Entries will be accepted based on first come first serve. This is subject to changes depending on the number of players each golf course is willing to accept.
b. The OC reserves the right to refuse any entry without assigning any reason for such refusal. The decisions of the OC as to the acceptance or refusal of any entry shall be final.
5. ENTRY
a. The entry fee for each tournament are as indicated in each event.
All fees include registration and drinks and must be submitted/settled at the time of entry.
Note. Fees will be final and non-refundable
d. There will be no refund of entry fees after the closing date.
e. Entries must be submitted through the official Kidz4Golf website.
f. Participants will receive a confirmation email after signing up.
6. REFERRAL PROGRAM (STARTS MARCH 23 2024)
Coach Referral
PGA and LPGA Professionals and coaches can earn $10 by referring any eligible player who has never played in a Kidz4Golf Junior Series Event. For each qualified player that plays in their first Kidz4Golf Junior Series event and submits a completed referral form, you will receive a $10 per child referral fee at the end of each season.
Friend Referral
Existing participants can earn a $10 rebate for future tournaments by referring any eligible new players to a Kidz4Golf Junior Series event. Have them complete the Referral Form when signing up for their first Kidz4Golf Junior Series Event.
Note.
i. Rebate for future tournaments are valid for one year from date of acknowledgement
ii. Referred players may register for any Kidz4Golf Junior Series event. No credit will be issued for referral programs unless a form is sent in and received prior to the participation in the player’s first event.
iii. A player cannot be referred by more than one person. New competitors may not refer each other.
iv. Players referred by a parent or sibling do not qualify for the referral program.
7. OPENING & CLOSING DATE
a. Registrations will open one (2) month before the tournament date
b. The closing date is a week before each event. Late entries may be accepted at the sole discretion of the OC.
8. TEE TIMES
a. The tee times will be decided based on random selection for the first event. Subsequently, all tee times will be allocated according to the player’s scores from the previous months with consideration of the pace of play.
b. Players shall start at the time & in the order indicated in the tee sheet.
c. No substitution of players and changes shall be permitted after the draw has been made.
d. Tee times will be sent to players 3 days prior to the tournament date via email and will also be available on the Kidz4Golf Website and Instagram page.
9. SUBMISSION OF SCORECARD
a. Players should check their scorecards in the returning area (scoring table) and ensure that they are correct and signed.
b. Any doubtful points should be settled with the OC before returning the scorecard.
c. A player is deemed to have returned his scorecard and no further amendments may be made once he has left the returning area (scoring table) or the demarcated area where they exist.
10. AWARDS AND TIES
a. The top 3 finishers in each group will receive an award following the completion of their age group at each event. This is subject to changes based on the number of players in each age group.
b. If the age group has 3 or less players, only the top finisher will receive an award.
c. In the event of a tie, the ties will be decided based on the USGA scorecard playoff.
11. END OF SEASON AWARDS
a. Swing for the stars: The person in each age group who accumulates the most points during the 10 events will be named Player of the Year. Points will be awarded at each tournament in each age group based on the following point scale:
1st – 65 points
2nd – 45 points
3rd – 40 points
4th – 35 points
5th – 30 points
6th – 25 points
7th – 20 points
8th – 15 points
9th – 10 points
10th – 5 points
b. The end of season awards will be given away at the last event of each season. Swing for the Stars awardees will receive a take home trophy, and their name will be engraved on a challenge trophy/plaque.
12. GOLF CARTS/MOTORIZED TROLLEYS
a. The use of golf carts and motorized trolleys in this tournament is prohibited.
b. Players or caddies are to walk / carry / hand-trolley their own golf bags.
13. PACE OF PLAY
a. Rule 5.6b (Prompt Pace of Play) will be strictly enforced in accordance with the USGA/R&A Rules.
14. DRESS CODE
a. Players must be properly attired on the golf course. Blue jeans, designer jeans, round neck T-shirts and tank tops are prohibited. Golf shirts must be worn, and shorts must be no shorter than mid-thigh (no jean shorts).
b. This dress code will be used in conjunction with any additional dress code restrictions of the host club. Players and caddies violating this dress code will not be permitted to start the tournament.
c. A violation of this dress code by a player or caddie during the stipulated round must be rectified without undue delay or the player will not be allowed to continue play.
15. CONDUCT OF PLAYERS (Rule 1.2)
a. All players should conduct themselves in a disciplined manner, always demonstrating courtesy and sportsmanship, irrespective of how competitive they may be.
b. Any action contrary to the spirit of the game such as abusive language, throwing of clubs, or other disruptive behaviors, will not be tolerated and may result in disqualification. If a player commits a serious breach of conduct, he may be barred from entry to future tournaments.
c. The use of mobile phones (except in an emergency) and smoking are not allowed on the course.

First breach – written warning
Second breach – Disqualification
16. SPECTATORS/PARENTS
a. Spectators will be allowed only at the discretion of the hosting golf course. Kidz4Golf will strictly follow the guidelines given to us by the hosting site.
b. See Spectator Guidelines if spectators are allowed.
17. AMENDMENTS TO CONDITIONS
a. The OC reserves the right to amend these conditions of competition.

Our golf coaches mainly provide one-on-one instruction. You can arrange lesson timings directly with them, including group lessons for multiple juniors. Currently, lessons are available at Don Knabe Golf Course, Bell Gardens Golf Course, Eaton Canyon Golf Course, and Altadena Golf Course.
